I purchased Kramer locally at Bill's Pets in Bryant, AR about two months ago. I had been going there to see him since he was about 3-4 weeks old. I read a ton of information online and in books, and having always wanted a Parrot, I thought I was ready. I hate to admit that I wasn't. I love Kramer to death and spend alot of time with him, but being young and single and I am not ready for the commitment required to keep him. I have to come home straight from work to make sure that he has plenty of time out of his cage. With all that being said, Kramer is wonderful. He is already starting to talk a little and whistle, he mumbles alot (practice). Although he seems to be bonded with me and not too favorable to other people right now, I am certain that with patience he could bond with someone else at this early age. He is still taking his baby formula twice a day. I believe that would help the transition. He comes with large cage w/playtop and numerous other toys, perches, etc.
